Federal State School is a small school located on Middle Creek Road,off the Bruce Highway, just north of Cooroy. Our school is set in a picturesque surround of rolling green hills, huge shady trees and a meandering creek. We have a co-educational enrolment of 101 children at present, ranging from Prep to Year 7. Our school community is very proud of its strong academic performance and on its family atmosphere. Our new, relocated Federal State School site is across the road from the Federal Memorial Hall. This new facility is a beautiful learning environment that has been architecturally designed for modern teaching and learning needs. We have a huge sporting oval, fully shaded tennis court and spacious library. Our new contact number is 54808600.

The Old Site Federal State School was 100 years old in 2010 and we celebrated with the raising of a time capsule that had been buried for 20 years. Seven hundred people attended our Centenary Day!
